About New York Hardcore Tattoos
Vinnie Stigma of Agnostic Front and Jimmy Gestapo of Murphy's Law founded NYHC Tattoos in 1999, making it one of the older tattoo parlors on the Lower East Side. Artists draw each design by hand as a one-of-a-kind piece, and the shop calls itself licensed and insured. Styles named include traditional, coverups, fine line and anime, and flash tattoos are on offer. Walk-ins are taken first come, first served, seven days a week from noon to 8 pm, though calling first is recommended because resident artists often book a few months ahead. The shop does not tattoo anyone under 18. Rated 4.9 from 183 Google reviews, 173 of them five stars and 3 one star. NYHC shirts and merch are sold at the shop, and a quote can be requested online.
